Interview: Matchstick President Dane Delgado on Golf Link

Golf ball markers are obviously very near and dear to my heart, and there's so many options and styles out there to choose from. Part of the goal of Matchstick was to distill what I thought were all the best qualities, then concentrate great designs in one place.

When I lost my Jones Sports Co. "Birdie" mark, I was perplexed by my inability to find great designs with high quality craftsmanship that didn't cost more than the round of golf I was playing that day.

I had the opportunity to sit down with GolfLink.com's Nick Heidelberger and talk about the reasons why Matchstick was started, what I think makes a good golf ball marker, and why a dingy old quarter just won't do the trick.
