Individually handcrafted and never mass-produced, each Matchstick Golf heacover is an exploration in fibercraft through textiles, texture, and concept. Made from reclaimed materials or new, premium fabric with thoughtfully-sourced details, let's reimagine and repurpose something for the golf course, together.

Your project might begin with a meaningful garment or reclaimed textile; or new, heritage tailorables like waxed canvas, raw denim, or full-grain leather. You could incorporate an existing patch, metal hardware, or another distinctive element worth featuring as the hero element of your golf bag. It's about making something bespoke and lasting for years to come.

Simply choose your headcover size and quantity, then share the materials, colors, and details you have in mind. You can provide your own materials, or work with us to source the right textiles and components for the project. We’ll confirm the final direction with you after purchase and before production begins.

Custom Headcovers FAQ

Select from the options above to the best of your understanding. If we need to change the number of headcovers based on the source material, we will discuss and I will update the invoice as necessary, either adding headcovers or sending a refund in the unlikely case we can't make the number of covers you requested.

Most existing materials I should be able to get at least two headcovers out of. It can often be more, or sometimes less based on the features we'd like to keep from the source material.

Once you've made your selections and paid, I will email you and also schedule a call to discuss concepts, sizes, lining choice, and other necessary options.

A typical turnaround time for two headcovers is four weeks.

I can make headcovers out of any source material you like. We will discuss whether a material is suitable, but I've made headcovers out of jackets, shirts, jerseys, pants, denim, canvas, leather etc.

Matchstick focuses on reclaimed materials and new, premium, heritage textiles. I do not make headcovers based on uploaded artwork, AI-generated concepts, or the like. I make headcovers made from real world materials, reimagined for the golf course.

Custom headcover materials are typically supplied by the customer. Most people come to me with something they want a headcover made out of.

If you're looking to concept a headcover from scratch, and have an idea for a material, I can also help source material for you. That cost will be added to any invoice.

My production schedule is up to four weeks for customs, after we've finalized the concept and details. It's possible to get them sooner than that based on my workload.

If you need headcovers faster than that, please reach out to me and we can arrange a rush production.

Right now I make driver, wood, and hybrid headcovers. Putters may come in the future, but at the moment I'm concentrating on these designs.

All headcovers are handmade by me, Dane Delgado. They're constructed with heavy weight batting for structure, Gütermann Tera 60 outdoor grade thread, and Polartec 200 fleece lining.

These premium grade construction techniques and materials allow for a highly durable golf headcover that will last for years and keep your golf bag looking fresh.
