Morning Session — Getting Familiar 

Dive In:We’ll play a quick, exciting 9 to get a feel for the adventure of our host, Wildwood Golf Course

Four groups of three players will have tee times starting at 10:00 am. Liz will join the groups as the fourth, roaming between them of the course of the round. She'll offer anything from simple tips, to course strategy, aiming assistance, risk assessment, and more.

Liz’s Insights:Benefit from Liz’s expertise as she accompanies higher handicap players, offering tips and strategies for improvement. 

Lunch:Rest and enjoy a meal from the Wildwood Grill before the hard work to come. 

Afternoon Session — Precision Putting 

On-Course Putting: Translate your putting practice to real game scenarios. 

Technique: Refine your setup and posture for consistent performance. 

Control: Master lag putting and distance control to reduce your strokes on the green. 

Insight: Develop skills in green reading over long putts for better accuracy. 

Dinner:
Stormbreaker in nearby St. Johns.

Morning Session

Routine: Establish a pre-shot routine that prepares you for success on every hole. 

Challenges: Tackle on-course issues like tricky lies, fairway bunkers, and uphill shots. 

Vision: Learn the art of picking a target and using intermediate targets to enhance your aim. Knowing where to miss 

Afternoon Session 

On-Range Group and Individual Coaching: Six players will practice with Liz during a group range session. Much like a D1 collegiate golf practice, Liz will give drills and move between players for individual swing coaching. The session will then move to the putting green for group and individual putting technique coaching. At the same time, two groups of 3 players will play 9 holes. When the first two groups return, the process will repeat. On-range players will play 9 holes, and the incoming players will go through the group and individual coaching. 

Evening Session 

Twilight:Watch the sunset on Wildwood’s hilltop covered patio overlooking the entire front 9 of the course, complete with refreshments 

Party at Matchstick Golf:Come visit Matchstick Golf’s headquarters in nearby St. Johns. Dinner and drinks will be provided. 

Morning Session: How to Prepare 

Preparation: Learn how to prepare for a round both mentally and physically. 

Strategy: Gain insights into decision-making that can transform your game. 

Putting Analysis: Record each participant’s putting tendencies for a detailed review and feedback. Individual notes will be prepared by Liz and sent to students for long-term practice. 

Midday Session: Home on the Range

Analysis: Record each participant’s swing for a detailed review and feedback. Individual notes will be prepared by Liz and sent to students for long-term practice. 

Roast & Review: Enjoy Liz’s quick-witted roasts and constructive opinions on each swing, adding a touch of humor to the learning process. 

Afternoon Session: Muni Madness

Participate in a Wildwood tradition! Play 9 holes as a group of 12, Muni Madnessstyle. The group plays together, each hole turned into a Par 3. Six people tee off all at once, and each player must put up $1 per hole. Any player making a solo best score on any hole must be paid $1 by each and every participant! 

Evening: The Fade 

A group dinner hosted by Liz at Tough Luck in Northeast Portland. 

Tournament Time: Play against your fellow students in a handicapped tournament at one of Oregon’s most exclusive private clubs. 

Not usually open to the public, Astoria Golf & Country Club is hosting this group for our 12-man tournament on our final day. Prizes will be handed out for low net, KP, long drive, and more! A beautiful course nestled on the North Oregon coast, AGCC is noted by its rolling dunes, small, quick greens, and excellent year round playing conditions thanks to its construction and drainage.
